30.Banting Rotis 3: Egg Wraps or Rotis

Often knowing that low-carb wraps are a better option isn’t enough to keep you from really wanting that roti or rotlas or other high carb wraps.  Easy low-carb rotis and wraps can be a real boon in these moments. You can use them for eating with curries, as snack foods or make roll ups with them. They taste great and should nip any leftover bread and snack craving right in the bud. 

When on a diet, it’s important to know how to settle your cravings wisely, or eventually you’ll break your diet. Often its the simpler recipes that are more successful because they can be whipped up faster. Small meals and snacks shouldn’t really hurt your diet especially if they are in small amounts and low in carbs as well. They can in fact actually help you better, to keep yourself on track and to refrain from cheating. In todays post I share with you 3 easy egg wrap/roti recipes. ENJOY!

Recipe 1:  

2 egg whites

pinch of cream of tartar 

pinch thyme, mint or dried herbs of choice.
Whisk the above together till well blended. Heat 1tblsp coconut oil in a nonstick pan and cook the batter omelette style. When one side is done, flip over and cook till other side is done.

Recipe 2. 

Whisk together 1 egg + 2 Tblsp dessicated coconut until well blended. Heat 1 tblsp coconut oil in a nonstick pan and cook the batter omelette style. When one side is done , flip over and cook till other side is done .

Recipe 3.

1 egg

3 tblsp heba pap  

5 tblsp water 

  1. Blend the above well together. Heat 1 tblsp coconut oil in a nonstick pan, and cook the batter omelette style. When one side is done, flip over and cook till done other side.
