There are lots of different recipes for low carb mug breads that can be whipped up daily, as required in microwave ovens. Instead of wheat or other high carb flours, one will however use seeds, nuts, dessicated coconut or low carb flours instead.

This makes it so easy nowadays to adhere to a lchf lifestyle. Afterall, having steaming hot fresh banting bread in a matter of minutes helps to make meals satisfying and helps increase the good fats in your meal as well. An added bonus of mug breads is they are often very easy and super quick to whip up too.

Today’s recipes use ground up flaxseeds, desiccated coconut  or coconut flour that are much cheaper than using almond flour.Eat these mug breads warm with some butter. You could also top it with sliced Cheese, shredded meat, avocado, cream cheese or a low carb topping of your choice.

You can even toast your mugbread slices in a greased nonstick pan if you so wish to. Note that using brown linseeds are cheaper than the golden flaxseeds and will produce a brown coloured bread rather than a golden one.
